Say hello to Jean
Jean Menzies has joined the Neo's editorial team. Jean is a PhD student at the University of Roehampton, where she is working on the politicisation of sexual assault in 4th century Athens.
You probably know her from her YouTube channel, Jean Bookishthoughts, where she shares her passion for classics, among other things.
Our first issue is out!
The first issue of NEO is available online. We are happy to have an issue with a considerable topic range, from analyses of Ovid's Metamorphoses, to the texts of Horace and Lucan and a new take on the Lapis Niger in Rome. Mythological readings, philosophical analyses, new takes on archaeological findings, and reception of ancient authors in medieval poetry are some of the topics you will find in this issue.
