I am a current PhD student in Classics at University of Roehampton (London). I received a BA in Classics in 2007 and a MA in Philology, Tradition and Classical Literature in 2010 from University of Bologna.
My research thesis is focused on the depiction and characterisation of female avengers in ancient Greek tragedy, through analysis of relevant animal metaphors. I am a member of the Research Group in Gender and Sexuality (SEGS) and the Interdisciplinary Research Group for Human-Animal Studies (IRGHAS) at University of Roehampton, and also member of the Classical Association council as representative of students.
